Terms
Last updated October 6, 2026
CAD to Video is a service of Apsion, LLC. The Apsion Terms of Service apply to this site. For orders, the terms on this page take precedence over them. Sections 8 and 9 of the Apsion Terms (contributions and submissions) do not apply to anything sent with an order: CAD files, photos and product details stay yours and confidential, as set out below.
Orders and payment
Each order is for one package at the price published on this site when the order is placed, paid in full up front by the invoice sent with the order confirmation.
When the clock starts
Delivery times start at complete intake: a CAD file that opens, plus the product name and the features to highlight. Orders that arrive Mon-Fri 9-5 Central start on arrival; others start at 9am the next business day. A deadline that lands on a weekend moves to Monday at the same time. The CAD file is checked as soon as the clock starts.
Upload limits: one CAD file up to 2 GB as .step, .stp or .zip, and product photos up to 100 MB each as .jpg or .png.
Files that cannot be used
If the CAD file is corrupt, is a mesh export rather than STEP, is missing parts, is password-protected, or is a single merged solid when the video needs parts to come apart, the clock does not start. You are told what is wrong and how to fix it. If it is not fixed within 5 business days, or you would rather not fix it, the order is refunded in full.
If the model is too large or complex to render in the delivery time, you are told at the file check, before any work, and offered a new due time or a full refund.
Waiting on you
If a question about the product comes up (a colour, which part is which, a feature name), the clock pauses until it is answered.
Late delivery and cancellation
If the first cut is not delivered by its due time, you can cancel for a full refund at any point before it arrives. You can also cancel for a full refund before work starts. Once work has started, an order that is on time cannot be cancelled.
Changes and corrections
The Feature Video includes 1 round of changes within the fixed format: which features are called out, the callout labels and the voiceover lines. The final is delivered 24 hours after your feedback. The Pilot has no round of changes.
If a deliverable does not match your order or your CAD file, it is corrected free and does not use the round of changes. If the CAD file itself is wrong, a corrected render needs a new order.
Your files
You confirm that you have the right to send the files and have them rendered. They are used only for your order, rendered on in-house workstations, never uploaded to an image or video generator, and deleted 30 days after the order. Renders of your product are not shown or published without your written permission. An NDA can be signed before you upload: email [email protected].
Ownership
Once the order is paid, you own the delivered stills and videos and can use them anywhere. Music and voiceover are licensed to you for use as part of the delivered video. Apsion keeps its tools, pipeline and templates.
Liability and governing law
Apsion's liability for an order is limited to the price paid for it. Governing law and disputes follow the Apsion Terms of Service (State of Arizona).
